Yu Wang is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer and Data Sciences at the University of Oregon. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University.

Yu’s research seeks to rigorize System 1-style Neural Processing to make it more useful, trustworthy, and inclusive through the infusion of System 2-style structural intelligence, such as graph machine learning and structured knowledge intelligence, with applications in Document Intelligence, Social Computing, and Infrastructure Analysis.
